First post....

Hello World...

 

I am James Nicol, principal of eNilsson Asia Pacific, and technology leader here at eNilsson. I thought I should get the ball rolling with our first post on the 'so new you can smell the paint drying' eNilsson blog.

 

The main focus of the blog is for us to share with you, the readers, some of the interesting (and hopefully useful) snippets of information we have gathered in our pursuit web design perfection. We are all PHP devotees and use Code Igniter as our framework of choice when building just about any client app. So expect more that a few posts on that....

 

While we are all Black Belts (5th dan) in HTML, CSS and Javascript kung-fu, Flex is our new plaything. For those of who dont know Flex is an offshoot of Flash, that is more developer focused but still runs in Flash Player. We love the cross browser functionality and the broad range of cool components that come straight out of the box. Makes developing apps fun again. Seriously the amount of wasted company time on making things work on IE could have bought an a small island in the Bahamas ;-)
