RNC Convention Media Team schedules 518 interviews for the first day of the convention

St. Paul, Minnesota - On day one of the 2008 Republican National Convention, the Convention Media Team has utilized eNilsson's Elephant Scheduler to schedule 165 surrogates for over 518 interviews with the national and international press.
Convention media surrogates are influential legislators, political operatives, and celebrates who are used as spokespeople for the the McCain campaign. Surrogates for this year's convention include: 23 Governors, 22 Senators, and 61 Congressmen.
The Elephant Scheduler allows convention staff, to process and except media interview requests and then enter the requests into each surrogates schedule. On a daily basis Elephant Scheduler generates briefing books for each surrogate which includes the surrogates schedule and talking points for their specific interviews.
