eNilsson nabs 2 Pollie Awards
March 30, 2009
Washington DC - In last night's 18th Annual Pollie Awards banquet, eNilsson was awarded two Pollie Awards for our work in the 2008 Presidential election.
In the category of "Best Use of Breakthrough Internet Fundraising Technique," eNilsson was awarded a Silver for the ElephantTrakker which was created and used by the Mitt Romney for President campaign. The gold went to Barack Obama's "Grassroots March."
"We would have loved gold, but I guess it is not so bad only being surpassed by the Obama juggernaut and his unlimited financial resources," stated Erik Nilsson, eNilsson's founder.
In the category of "Best Use of New Technology" eNilsson was awarded a Bronze for the ElephantScheduler. Again, gold went to the Obama campaign and silver went to Senator Tim Johnson. The ElephantScheduler was used by the John McCain for President campaign, the Mitt Romney for President campaign, the RNC, and the Republican National Convention.
The Pollie Awards were held by the American Association of Political and Public Affairs Professionals (AAPC) in Washington's new Gayloard National Resort. Over 600 guests attended the banquet. The AAPC gathered the best and brightest content leaders and exhibitors for the 2009 Pollie Awards & Conference. This conference offered more than 20 business sessions focusing on the most important technology and democracy issues affecting the political and public affairs professions today.
